Meaningless offered out of context as you do. Go derp somewhere else, Hawk Trash Rubbish Heap.
How is that out of context? The contention here is the B12 is superior to B10 West. If you look at the head to head record, recruiting rankings, players drafted… it compares quite well to the B12. This site seems to cling to the fact that the Big Ten west gets drummed by Ohio State or Michigan in the title game and the fact TCU beat Michigan last year as the main argument that the B12 is much tougher.

My only contention here is that the B1G West is straight trash, which it is. Your insecurity is what makes you think my comment involved the Big 12 at all. Perhaps that same insecurity is what drives you to come to this board to post your rubbish.

But since you desire to go there--a true head ro head would mean something. The Big 12 and B1G West do not all play each other consistently, or even close to consistently.

But it matters not, because the B1G West is straight trash this year, as I stated. Now scuttle off to your trailer park, Hawkeyes on My Belly Man.

With all the coaching changes in the Big Ten west, I have no idea what to expect but I would guess it’ll be a transition year that’s not great. Northwestern is going to be terrible is about the only given.

A lot of the projections about Iowa State schedule being so tough is solely based off of last years records. The big 12 looks headed for a downturn to me looking at the preseason all conference teams. And the hard part about college football anymore is hardly anyone plays anymore out of conference of note so you don’t really get a good measure of the teams until the bowl games. And even those aren’t a great measure because of the opt outs anymore. But at least you are getting more P5 matchups and both teams are typically affected by opt outs.
“The Big 12 looks headed for a downturn based on their preseason all conference teams.”

Yeah bc that pre season all conference team/league projections last year that had TCU at the bottom of the conference turned out to be SUPER accurate and predictive. Lol!

Last year, the B12 runner up went on to beat your precious B1G champ in the CFP, and hung 51 points on em in the process.

Well stated argument without poignant facts.

The Big Ten West is better than the East from top to bottom. The East has MSU, Indiana, Rutgers, and Maryland. MSU has severely fallen off and the other three are typically a joke. I couldn’t find it, but I’m pretty sure the West has a better record vs. the East. The East clearly has a couple of elite football programs that the West doesn’t have. Also, the Big 12 without Oklahoma and Texas isn’t any better than the West.

Like I said, that’s the only arrow in the quiver for the B12. However, the transitive property just doesn’t work considering that was the worst beat down in college football championship history to Georgia. Whom Ohio State played toe to toe with the week before.

To me it's not about comparing it to the B12 as much as the attention it gets like it's so much better than it is. I don't recall the Big 12 North getting very high praise during its down years in the mid-late 2000s.

As well stated as your rubbish--trying to pass off a limited head to head record where the full grouping of teams don't play each other is just plain lazy. It passes for argument I suppose as does 90% of the hawkshit rubbish that populates sports talk airwaves. Socrates you ain't, Son. And suggesting otherwise doesn't make it so.
