I was trying to get an how it would look for NET purposes. It's hard to say this early, obviously but there still should be 12/13 Q1 games there. I hope, anyway.

For sure Q1 Games
Houston x2
KSU x2
TCU x2
KU
Baylor
Texas

Possible Q1 Games
@BYU (Finished 85th)
@Cincinnati (Finished 70th
@Oklahoma (finished 68th)

All 3 of those possible Q1 games are toss ups. Q1 games on the road must have a NET between 1-75.

That's reasonable within expected range of where opponents would rank. As you said, far too early to know for sure in all cases.

If anything, I might change the home games vs. KSU and TCU to Quad 2. Has to be 1-30 for home to be Q1 - feels like those two might be just outside of that. Maybe.

Of course, Q2 wins are good to have, too.

I agree. Not convinced KState will be a top 30 team. Tylor Perry is a really good scorer but I don't know if he can be the facilitator Nowell was. I'm also skeptical of the Kaluma pick up. Creighton was fine with him leaving. He's a black hole on offense.

@Cincy and @UCF are a lot better for SOR come March than if you play them only at home and happen to loose. The more I look at the schedule, the more I like it for resume building.

I would REALLY appreciate protected rivalries in basketball and football in the 2024 and beyond Big 12, similar to the B1G. We should ALWAYS play KU and K-state in all sports, every year. After that, let's do the round robin schedule.

The Big Ten nailed scheduling. That should be the model for everybody going forward.

The final element is sequence of the schedule. With only game vs. KU, glad it's at Hilton, but I hope it doesn't got slotted in early January when students are on break. But I could totally see that happening.

Most of the home/away games should be somewhat evenly distributed between front 9/back 9, one-off games a little closer to the middle of the schedule.

There is only 4 of the old B8 left might as well throw Okie State in there 2. But if we can have only 2 make it the Kansas schools.

Both mbb and wbb don't get one last game in Hilton with Texas. Makes the win I got to see because of @Cycsk even more special.
Mind refreshing us on that?

Edit: I was thinking of someone else, on the medical side.

Cycsk did a pregame tailgate before the game. I came for the tailgate but wasn't going to the game because I didn't have a ticket. He bought a ticket from a scalper for a really reasonable price so I could see the game.

I like that, we got the slightly less hard half. I think VCU will probably be Q2 while Boise State and VT hover around that mark. Hoping we get FAU in the final should we get it
