One thing that I'd like to see is Iowa State acting like we are a premier school in this conference. It's us, the Kansas schools, and Oklahoma State. We are the schools that have been around since the Big 8. Our views should matter more than anyone who we saved by inviting them into this conference.

True. But honestly, the 4 remaining schools saved Texas 25 years ago. All this conference does is hang around like a crazy person and throw lifelines to schools in trouble And that's us, the Kansases, and Oklahoma State. It's high time we act like we really are the king makers!

Honestly, I'm kind of bummed right now. The last 24 hours have been fun, crazy and emotional all wrapped up in one great thread. Now it's back to waiting and speculation for when the next domino will fall.
