Why? You don’t want to play more members in conference?I know but it was stupid to go to 9 conference games in the first place.

I mean.. who knows what UCF can turn into with solid money coming in. We've made significant strides with the cash flow we've taken on. I'm guessing they'll do the same. Could turn out quite well though I hate the geographic side of them in this conference.I kind of feel like I want to get a Return Authorization Code for at least UCF and Houston.
Do they have an ASU problem, or what’s the issue?
Why is it every time I go on Twitter I want to pop in a weed gummy…..I wonder??If you ever need a reminder of how delusional Nebby fans are go read this person's X(twitter) feed: https://twitter.com/Genetics56

I just don’t think the scenario with Arizona gone is all that much different than it is right now.

GT gets invited somewhere. It's an academically elite, large, public university in a huge city in the middle of a top-5 state for football recruiting. They don't have a huge fanbase but they check off every other box you'd want to have checked off.

Hahaha if this thread is any indication the Big12 will be a 30 team league with all the names thrown aroundHell - if the SEC or Big 10 don't want them, they will be a Big 12 school Guarantee that.
per sources?
I feel it's pretty basic. Pac schools first desire is to stay together. Can't blame them, other than Utah, all the schools have been together over 40 years. That's a lot of history to walk away from. So they are going to give GK every chance to present a deal.Do they have an ASU problem, or what’s the issue?
WVU has no interest in the ACC. It did when the BE collapsed bc WVU was on its own.Agree. Then I read ACC going after West Virginia. ACC has thumbed their nose at West Virginia for years. If West Virginia leaves, and the ACC breaks up, we would take Wake Forest before allowing West Virginia back.
I think the timing of your media deal was a much bigger factor then adding UCF and Houston. If the conferences were switched I’m not sure the Big12 gets their media deal today. I hope the best for those teams but 3/4 teams you added could very well be bottom feeders for years to come. The east wins are nice though.I can understand why maybe with all this going on your wouldn't be as excited about UCF and Houston, but I think it's all part of the process. Growing made us more appealing for our TV deal, and has lead us to be in a better position now seeking out new members. I'm not sure we get there without adding those 4.
I still think UCF is a sleeping Giant right now. Huge student body, Good basketball gym, new stadium, central location in one of the biggest recruiting states. Other state teams (Miami, Florida State, and Florida) not quite as powerful as they were 20 years ago. The football team is already pretty solid foundation. Now they have the big 12 and 31 million a year. Might be 5-10 years but I could see them being a really solid foe.
This is the problem with Oregon...if they really want to be in the Big Ten but "settle" and come to the Big 12. This becomes a source of instability, and a potential bad look for the Big 12 a few years down the road if Oregon bolts for the Big Ten, as the Big 12 would lose another big name.

The new AD was on a podcast (3 guys before the game) a month ago, and said WVU has zero interest in the ACC now. He basically said the elites in the ACC have always considered WVU a lesser university based on academics and culture and would never invite WVU unless desperate.
He said WVU has found a home with universities of a similar culture, and is no longer desperate, and hence has zero interest in the ACC.
