Nobody at ISU knows if this is it. It’s possible other charges could be filed and that’s what they’ve been told. There were a lot of lose lips in DCI interviews so it’s still an active investigation.

With that said, they are contingency planning for a number of scenarios but won’t know of any additional legal charges (new people or superceding indictments) until the public as DCI has refused to give any heads up.

The feeling though is this is the worst of the news legally speaking. Some very persistent rumors about other players and their betting habits, but at this point they don’t appear likely to have legal implications.

I think you mean.... "at least the QB room has some warm bodies", right? We have no idea if there's any depth there whatsoever. None of them really have any experience at all.... none.

This year will be a miracle if we win more than 4 games... unless somehow the rest of the team is just pissed off and comes together like never before and wants to prove something. They will be fun to cheer for, but I have almost no expectations.

What’s very concerning to me, is that all along we have been told that DraftKings, etc., have safeguards that prevent this. Obviously, something broke down in Hunters case. Another big question is at what point did authorities realize this. He played a full season after he bet on the team. Why was it easy for Hunter to fool authorities for that long?
This is bad. For Campbell, AND his boss.

Yeah, because I also have $17k in losses... lol basically a revolving door.
But then wouldn’t your wagers number be $34K? Not $17K.

After that screenshot and some of the data points being thrown around. I’m certain the $45K isn’t right now. I’m not sure how these apps are calculating wagers, but they seem wrong

Seems like the DCI is spending more money and resources on the investigation than was actually gained from these wagers to make an example out of these players' dumb decisions.

Or doing what's required by law when the Sports Book notifies them of possible illegal activity.

Either/Or really...
