I’ve now tried all 3 and this is my ranking. I normally favor something with medium body and a more malty flavor, so my ranking pretty much reflects that. That said, I liked them all and will certainly spread my purchases amongst the three of them.I love Oktoberfests and I have had the Clone Fest in the past so I'm excited for that one. Ames Lager will just be a different style. Glad at least a little of my Clone Fest purchase goes to the university
A little scarcity is not a bad thingI have seen huge piles of Swarm at just about every Hy-Vee I've been too. Honestly I would rather have it be a little scarce and have some demand rather than just seem like it's something that is sitting around and no one wants.
At the end of the day the availability of Ames Lager is what it is. Anyone acting like West O can just flip a switch and drastically increase their production and distribution look pretty ignorant. Everyone is doing the best they can with what they have. It's not going to change for a while so you may as well get use to it.
That is more in their fans price point at least.
Haven't been lucky enough to grab any Ames Lager and not sure if I saw any Clonefest, but I'm really liking the Trice Legend beer. Not quite the best Red Ale I've had, but it is pretty good.I’ve now tried all 3 and this is my ranking. 1. Trice Legend
2. Clonefest
3. Ames Lager
As someone mentioned, the can does include the QR label for the website. The can design is a nice blend of a simple, vintage beer look while also being informative on the WeWill Collective.
One thing I'm wondering about is will there be We Will advertising inside JTS and Hilton? Advertising might not be the right word but signage with QR codes for the website/venmo, a message on the video board, even donation boxes or something to that effect near the concessions, etc. Anything like that at home games? @brentblum
Me too. I plan on buying quite a bit once I finally get my hands on it. For those that want to admonish me for saying that it is pricey, there you go. Paying a little extra is perfectly fine with me for this. I was more worried about the average consumer.I'm more than happy to pay a little more if a portion goes to NIL as well.
Pretty common price in WDM. Hell I see Coors light sixers in glass bottles going for $9.99 sometimes which is nuts.Me too. I plan on buying quite a bit once I finally get my hands on it. But $11.99 is not the standard price for a 6 of craft cans. Not where I live anyway. It's just a little on the higher side, which makes sense since they are giving a portion to We Will. I am NOT complaining about the price...I'd buy a bunch at $15 a 6.

You do you, man. But most people would argue Lagers are good for hot days and Festbiers for later, cooler games.I've got Backpocket CloneFest for the early, hot part of the tailgate season, West O Ames Lager for midseason/Brocktober & PeaceTree Jack Trice red corn ale for the later cold football season into winter/basketball.
Cheers to Cyclone beers
Loved the restaurant but very happy he has been able to make the store successful.Really like this place.
You did catch the fine print that's for a 4 pack. That is more in their fans price point at least.
Pints though. At regular price, the cost/ounce is about the same as 6-pack of 12 oz. On sale, what cheapass Hawkeye fan can resist? You did catch the fine print that's for a 4 pack.
Their first run of Zoltan was really, really good. Beyond that, they're a not as good Confluence just with food.Regardless of capacity, Exile is still trash.
