Sometimes articles like this get written early and get released team by team spaced out. Then they tend to be released without review or update.
From what I gather reading the tea leaves, Chittum will do just fine. Great kid, and a great family to have in the program.
Class D felony is the least serious type of felony in Iowa1. It is normally punishable by up to 5 years' imprisonment and a fine of between $1,025 and $10,2451. Examples of class D felonies in Iowa include12:
- Forgery
- Second-degree criminal mischief
- Extortion
- Theft – second degree
- Burglary – third degree
- Lascivious acts
- Pimping

Typically a felony would get you removed from a scholarship. Glad you cleared that up, I thought it looked like he had leprosy

Also, he’s only been charged. It would be premature so do anything like that at this point.
There are some high profile wrestlers in the program not on scholarship.

Really. Someone charged with a felony doesn't usually lose a scholarship? We aren't The U. Hell Xavier Foster wasn't even charged and he was dismissed. Correct only charged, lots of evidence against him, hopefully they can plea it down and he can wrestle again. It would be a hell of a waste of talent
That I wholeheartedly agree with. That's why I was happy to see him out at the outing. To me, that showed a hell of a lot of support
I don’t know. Scholarship info is usually extremely private and I can’t recall an example of someone losing their scholarship publically. Can you?
Absolutely. Multiple times. It may not be in the news, but when they announce someone has been removed from a team, do you think they keep their scholarship?
