We have a way to get all of Swiderski, Chittum and Ech in the lineup? Only way that happens is if Ech (or Swiderski…which isn’t happening) goes 141, right?
Swiderski isn't going 141. I think there is a chance Ech does, but it would be a big cut for him

I can get to 5. Not sure about 6 tho.
Almost impossible to predict right now. There are so many unknowns. Chittum is a huge talent, but also a complete unknown in NCAA wrestling. He could be a top 3 or might struggle to AA.

I really like MJ, but has he grown better into the weight?

How’s Casey’s injury? Will it impact him at all anymore? Is this weight manageable for him to wrestle at full strength?

Carr is a lock. Feldkamp seems extremely likely. Yonger has a really good shot. Chittum, Casey, MJ are all really talented, but have questions.

I’m going to go with 4 AAs which I think is an optimistic, but still realistic option. I’d say O/U right now would be 3.

Most likely weight to AA to least likely IMO:
165
Hwt
184
149
157
141
174
125
133
197

Obviously this will change as we start the year based on who is in the lineup and what weight they're at, but this is my gut feel for the moment. Regardless, the team is going to be fun to watch and the most talent we've had in the Dresser area

It's interesting how much more "in the know" people think that Chittum has the talent to be a title contender right out of the chute, but the eternal pessimistic Cyclone fans think he'll struggle to get to .500 ....LOL

I Gable wrestles, which at this point I’m saying no, it becomes harder to AA for Yonger. Big Cass involved in gambling? The rumblings are out there but without him and Gable the path to AA is much easier.

Chittum was a title contender at Iowa. I would think he could at least AA at Iowa State!!!!!

Wow. Who thinks Chittum will struggle to get to .500. Let me know so that I can roast them appropriately.

If that is true, what past or future AA heavy will they throw incredible amounts of money at to get enrolled before wrestling season?
