basically, if you do the math he was wagering $35.57 per bet

not exactly huge sum of money-

what more concerning is the frequency.

over 1200 bets

he may have a addiction beyond his control -

The reporting of this news is so bad from all angles. One source has David's picture claiming he's Paniro.

that's the press for you

while paniro is a pretty big name

David is one of the most recognizable faces in college wrestling.

that was not a mistake - his picture was purposely placed there.

many will see his picture and not even read the headline and assume Carr is involved aswell

Feels like there’s more details here as to what was going on.

Just saying and normally I'm not one to support this but in this case I think it's warranted...DC needs to have a lawyer send them a letter ASAP. They didn't just use his picture but they willingly used a misleading captain to make it appear as if he was one of those involved.

Slow down buddy. You are trying to connect dots that aren’t there
and you know this how

??

i have seen the effects of gambling 1st hand on a member of my extended family.

lost his house and his family in the process.

and the exact same thing was said - he doesn't have an issue. - they aren't all his bets

so, forgive me if I'm connecting dot's that aren't there and voicing concern that a young man may or may

not have a issue

but as long as he is eligible i guess it doesn't matter

Those concerns are warranted in the situation of not knowing that all of those bets weren't just his. Just wanting to shed light on the fact that in this case it is very unlikely that all of those were his. If he has an issue with betting then none of us want to see him go down that road and all of us would rather see him get that taken care of than see him on a mat. No different than anyone else on the team that would have an issue with betting or any other sort of addiction. So your last part is more just being a bit over the top.

This team is going harder and “dialed in” more than years past. That’s the eternal optimist in me seeing things though
