FYI - Screen shots will no longer work for ticket entry at games

Got in line at 1227 thinking it would take a little longer. In at 105 missed the pick 6. It didn't seem to bother most of the people. I guess I am a little less tolerant of this slow, inefficient system. We pay a lot of money to go to these games. Way to long of a wait in my opinion..

Blame the fans, should get there earlier is not the answer. Just another reason to stay home. Left tailgate at 1230, got into gate with 2 minutes of q1 left. Got to section after 1st quarter and just said **** it my kids had no interest by that point. Family friendly my ass. Atleast 2nd half is nice from couch.

Issues on the N and S sides had to have pushed traffic to the W side.

Took off from our spot 30 minutes before kick which is usually more than enough time to get in. Most of the time we have to wait to empty our “beverage” before we can literally scan and walk in.

The line today stretched on the side walk all the way to the South Gate. Missed kickoff and the first score.

The problem wasn’t with the scanners at our gate. It was pretty seamless once we waited the 20 minutes to get to the front of the line.
What do you mean west side?

The effort it takes to go makes less sense every week. Maybe coco cabongos bar snd grill outside the gate will help though.

Doesnt matter if the scanners themselves are more clunky and buggy to work through introducing delays. I had issues with the tap to scan and i had everything set up correctly.
This. Had a ton of trouble getting into both the stadium and the SEZ. Tickets were loaded correctly in my phone but the readers were not working consistently. At the gate, we only got 1 of 4 tickets scanned before they just let us in. At SEZ they tried multiple readers before it worked. We were far from the only folks who were having the same problem. I realize that ISU may not have had a choice with this new arrangement, but it was an absolute **** show.

The west side has a gate - same as it ever was…….
Can you get to that gate from both the north and south side? I remember using that gate when they played Oklahoma in probably 2018 and was surprised it was still there...Nobody was hardly using it.

There is no way ISU is the only one rolling this out. Does anyone know if other schools are having the same problems?

We used to always come in on the west, and a “few” years ago we tried and found no way to get there. Fencing closed it off.

That was so dumb by ISU, make a walking path over or something. We left the tailgate at 12:15 by CY Stephens, missed the pick 6. People were passing out because it was so packed. How this is still a problem is just beyond me.

It was just the old people like me that cause all of the problems with this. We can't run a phone. (insert sarcasm, we couldn't go today)

I went to the Missouri game Thursday night as well as ISU today and they also had the new tap entry. Mizzou did not have the turn styles and that kept people moving. ISU needs to nix that and just have the tap and go like Missouri.

Serious suggestion, they need to look at how Disney World does park entry for tap and go. There are 4 tap machines to one park entry worker at Disney World. If you get someone that is slower, it doesn’t hold up the entire line.

Edit: also workers need more training to flip from barcode mode to tap mode. I tapped and it kept saying my tickets were invalid. The worker was confused then realized the people ahead scanned and she needed to go to a different screen for tap. That took us twice as long to get scanned in than it needed to.
