Deion’s schtick is going to get old fast. Congrats, you’re team played well and got a big win yesterday. Not taking anything away from the teams win but he’s out there acting like he just won the CFB championship. It’s the first game of the season against a team that lost a lot of talent from the previous year. And it’s not like they shut them out. His defense still gave up 42 points.

They were either both good or both bad. I think it's likely more the latter.

College kids love that stuff. It will not get old to them, and that's what matters.

In addition, in 24 hours sports news, hell get plenty of coverage. This shtick will work, and is great for b12

I get it but I also know thats probably going to help his recruiting and keeping his name out there.
Colorado was a dumpster fire. They had only won more than 3 games once in like the last 15 years. He gutted that program, went on the road againt a pretty decent team, and was wire to wire better.
He is confident about beating TCU on the road and honestly most of us were nervous about playing a FCS team at home.

Deion is more authentic than a lot of coaches. Honestly having someone coaching that isn't just a coach speak robot is nice. I can't stand listening to most coaches talk. Colorado went from being completely irrelevant to back to back Big Noon kickoffs. And backed it up with a big road win in week 1. I hope they can hang on to Deion for awhile. Would be great for the Big12 and they were fun to watch yesterday

It was poor taste when he went into that first meeting and basically got duped kids to cheer for the reality that they were getting fired.

Now that it's mostly kids who signed up for it, it is what it is and nothing to be upset about. I'm sure most who want to play for him will think it's incredible. I enjoyed watching him when he was a player, he backed it up for the most part.

He could leave some day, but boring coaches without much charisma do the same all the time so I'm not sure why that would single Sanders out either.

True on the authentic part. Last year Kirby Smart told his team a zillion times that no one believes they can win it again, and I'm like hold up dude.

This.

TCU likely regresses a little this year, but it's still a road game against the #2 team from a year ago. I thought ISU showed some good steps forward yesterday but I highly doubt we win @TCU in week one.

I have been a Deion critic I won't deny it. I'll give him some props but mostly his son and that kid who plays both ways, WR and CB. #12 apologize for fogettting the name. Those two balled out.

I get why he and his son could have a chip on their shoulder of people suggesting Jackson St success means nothing. Going forward I hope that's the end of people giving them bulletin board material like that.
