C/C/W is my least-favorite among current combos (not counting the not-all-black black-alternate).
agreed, but at least it is better than C/C/C. W/C/W is my strong favorite for home. just need some stripe on the pants and helmet

Ok. Iowa copied Steelers and their fortunes improved. KSU copied cowboys and their fortunes improved. Why doesn't ISU drop the yellow and copy niners?
They wanna keep hearing you whine about it for another 40 years?

Dude, I'm joking! You know I'd like to see our gold change. And it doesn't have to be the 49ers' gold. Although a lot of fans might like it. I'm not for copying the 49ers, personally.

So our 'gold' is actually supposed to be yellow? Weird... why weren't our colors cardinal and yellow then?

And I'm fine with the cardinal being a little darker than the 49ers. Go with that... and actual gold... not yellow.
49ers gold is not gold, its taupe. And its gross.

If we ever go back to a metallic/chrome gold we need to use the gold we have on our metallic logo etc.

More Yellow tint to it, somewhat similar to ND gold. Niner, BC, FSU gold is tan/taupe, which is straight up tan in non metallic uses. YUCK

They were back when 49s adopted them.
I keep seeing people say that the 49ers copied our uniforms, but I have never actually seen any proof or link to that.

Is there any proof of this or is it just a myth people like to believe.

Had a dream we put a white Orrnado on the helmet of our all black uniforms and called it the Storm Warning uniform. A man can dream…
Speaking of dreams, We could call them our nocturnal emission unis, or uniks.

I'm going to guess C/W/C for this Saturday.
I'll second. c/w/c

Just a thought here. I wonder if we wont see our typical white helmet until sometime after the TCU game? After that game, they will either use that uni 1 more time (said they wouldn't), or then they will be able to take the stripe off and change decals.

This assumes they have all the white helmets set up for the Trice game. [Not necessarily so.]

& then they tweet pics of the whole team wearing white helmets (which seem to be the go-to practice helmet — probably better to see in film)

Don’t like 10,000 schools (and sports teams of all types) use “yellow” but just call it gold? It’s so common, and has been forever, that I’m actually very confused that people are still confused by this.

Why would you choose yellow over gold?!
