Has anyone ever been able to figure out who actually designs the offense and has control of the playbook and calls during the game?

I'm trying to tell myself that Heacock usually uses their 1st 2-3 series to feel them out, then locks down.

It all started when we copied their black uniforms….now we score points like them too….
There was a thread a few days ago where someone asked what we'd like Iowa State's offense to look like? In a word,
Ohio's.
They have an H - back / TE, but are moving the pocket, doing some RPO it seems, different levels to routes, probably will have the QB keep the ball... mix in inside and outside zone etc...
That would be my dream for Iowa State's offense, at least in terms of what it looks like

Ah yes, we're playing the team with the most turnovers so far in CFB; only natural that they play a perfect game today.

The first two answers - yes. Campbell. Because the OC left, a new one was hired and its th e same offense.
Last part, its hard to say but the HC always has veto power.
Unfortunately no. We’ll have to have at least one more awful season for him to think about it and it’s still likely a no. It’s still early in this game.
