They never said this. A caller said wanting to go after the fan was a different level than what Fran and Matt both do during games. Miller and Condon did NOT say this. Give me a freaking break.

LOL. We heard all about Pierschbacher when he was going to Iowa. When he decides to go to Alabama, all of a sudden it isn’t in their coverage area. Calling ******** on that one.

Are you guys confusing the Proctor recruitment with the Pierschbacher recruitment? Murph and Andy were doing their radio show then, care to link to all of the podcasts that involved Pierschbacher? I bet you can't get more than 3 (the one after he committed, one after he decomitted, and maybe one other one but I doubt it)

On the WHO website, if you search for Pierschbacher you exactly two results having to do with him, which was the soundoff after he decomitted and a little blurb of his commitment that was buried in with other news.

But sure, you guys go ahead in your fantasy land. Keith Murphy, and by extension his sports department, doesn't typically cover high school recruiting. There have been very, very few exceptions and they are always local kids. Pierschbacher was not one of those exceptions, maybe you're confusing coverage from somewhere else.

Dare I say it’s time to bring back Marty Terrell? Two hours of crazy squeaks and giggles from a convicted felon might be more entertaining than All Hoks, All the Time. View attachment 116926

hell no... anyone that gives him another shot at local radio on this market I will have no sympathy for when the inevitable train wreck happens again with him. I think he's probably burned all his bridges in this market by now that only way he is ever back on the air will be doing his own podcast and likely screwing over some sponsor he conned into paying for it.

Didn't listen to KXNO before IE and sure as hell won't now. IE and CF are hard to keep up with all the pods.

Even though we won and Iowa lost this how M and C will probably go. Iowa lost but it's best team they will play all year. ISU won but it's OSU and their horrible.

Hope I'm wrong but I doubt it.

Murph and Andy don't really go down the recruiting rabbit hole at all, it's not their thing. Yeah they talked about Porctor and Nwankpa some because those were huge local in state kids that were recuritied by the blue bloods. Looking back at the Pierschbacher days I don't even remember him getting brought up much by them. I was a pretty avid listenr then too,

I don't expect to hear them ball washing that loss though. They know this was Iowa's only shot at a top team this year and that the rest of the schedule is weak AF.

Yeah Fales always seems to me more pro ISU than Iowa. Murph seems more like a Hawk to me.
I've always thought Murph was more sympathetic to ISU and Fales more sympathetic to Iowa, but I haven't felt like either had an axe to grind since I was in my early 20's and just completely blinded by excessive attachment to ISU athletics at that stage of life.

I think both are pretty fair in general, although I think Murph's current obsession with Caitlin Clark would give one a sense of him being more pro-Iowa. When it comes to football, I've always felt he was extremely fair to ISU.

It's possible that the reason I assume Murph leans more ISU and Fales more Iowa is that their spouses attended those schools, respectively. Murph mentions going to ISU games on his own personal accord several times every year. That could just be due to proximity too.
