that's where people could have a legitimate beef with KXNO, they don't seem to care much where that ad money comes from
Thank the lord for podcasts or I would have nothing to listen to in the commute. The HawkeyeXNO bias is too much to listen to. They don’t even try to hide it anymore. No actual voice on there that cares about ISU.
I imagine getting ad revenue for a radio station isn't the easiest proposition. I would take what I could get. I don't care if the owner of Jethros is a hawk fan, he is an ahole.
Which is ultimately the important point: we have real choices now. There’s literally no good reason to keep consuming a product you don’t like.
I have listened to bits and pieces of KXNO shows for the past two years. To be honest, how this station has ANY listeners is beyond me.
I still subscribe to Miller & Condon/Murph & Andy on Spotify as a “taste of home” addition to my podcast lineup. But with that medium it’s also much easier to pick and choose which segments to listen to.
M&C usually have one hour with Cyclone talk, one with hawk talk, so I’ll listen to the pod where they have their ISU interview then find something else. Had Heft on earlier this week, Chris on today.
