Outside fools who don't know anything. Nick Wright and Steven Ruiz. Grant Cohn (internally covers 49ers) is starting to come around.

I believe they technically count that Eagles game as a loss. But he tore his elbow all the way through and was knocked out.

So my point is 12 - 0 or 13 - 0 in games he started and finished. In games he didn't tear his elbow early in the game. Which obviously you can't really count that whether or not the NFL does. Because it's ridiculous. He could not play like that.

The fans mostly love him. Some took more time to come around than others. I could see it last year. This year he is even more improved in processing and reads.

I call him Brock_Star Montana Purdy. He's the best since Montana and Young on the 49ers. Probably in over 20 + years. We haven't had a QB this good in a long time.
hes the fkn worst

Players, former players and coaches rave about how Purdy has played so far.

If you notice, the naysayers are all media people who never played/coached at a high level.

Yeah that's correct. People who played the game and especially the position. Wright never played anything and it shows. His job is just to be a big mouth know it all. Who doesn't know anything. It's ridiculous.

Yes the math is this for those who were asking.

2022: 5 - 0
Playoffs: 2 - 0.
Torn elbow against Eagles: count this or not? IMO a torn elbow all the way through is deeply unfair to count. Yes they lost.

Miami game: Jimmy G got hurt early. Purdy played more than 3/4 of the game and they won. 1 - 0 there.

8 - 0 or 7 - 0 if you don't count the Miami game where Purdy played over 3/4 of it.

2023: 5 - 0.

12 - 0 or 13 - 0 in games he didn't tear his elbow. Regular season, playoffs, home, road, all inclusive.

Not just completion percentage. His QB Rating on throws of 10 or more yards is 158.3. Literally perfect. So much for the "dink & dunk" narrative.
Is there any data or proof that Purdue has a weak arm? I keep hearing this from haters but I am not convinced that Purdy has weak arm. He can zip it when he has to. It seems he just uses good enough velocity to complete passes. I think it is foolish to zip the ball when it is not necessary. High velocity pass looks good but it is hard to catch for receivers, and it often resulted in a dropped pass or an interception. The pass to Aiyuk in the game against Arizona traveled 47 yards in the air. It was a line drive and Purdy didn’t have to heave to make the pass. Is Purdy’s maximum velocity much lower than top tier quarterbacks like Allen, Mahomes, and Tua?

I remember during the game that Reggie Bush was ripping on Purdy on Twitter for not being tough.

He didn't know the extent of the injury. The elbow was torn through. In fact they put him in to do handoffs because all their QB's were out. But you could do nerve damage. Because the elbow and arm is not stable. So he actually got lucky he didn't injure it worse. It was a serious injury. He played with broken ribs for us last year. So no way to say he's not tough. It's dumb.

It's just a narrative. He can throw accurately in 40, 45, 50 yard windows. While he won't throw 75 yard rockets like Justin Herbert that's OK. Herbert does that once a season and it hits the highlights. But QB is about processing pre and post snap, going through reads quickly, making the right decision, getting the ball out quick, having excellent mechanics and throwing an accurate ball. All stuff Purdy is great at.

Wright at least gave some credit to Purdy this week.. finally.
Some people, including a few posters on this board, are a little slower than others to acknowledge the obvious. Some even cuss you out of you dare to mention Purdy in the same sentence as their hero.

I'd put money that he was told to be contrarian this season on Purdy because he was nearly all in last season talking about him. No conflict if they both think he is an MVP candidate so Wright stirs the pot instead. His arguments leading up to last weekend were weak sauce too.

Why is everyone’s dot so big and they gave Brock a tiny dot?!?
Percentage of plays where the coverage was perfect. I take it that Brock hasn't seen a lot of them this season so far, but the ones he has, he's essentially made the most correct decision compared to the rest of the QB's.

OMG, these guys on drug. I guess any QB can replace Purdue and do the same thing that Purdy has done thus far according to these idiots
