No, it is not. Haters are not giving any credit to Purdy because he was drafted in 7th round. If Trey Lance has done the same thing, then these haters will say he is the second coming of Mahomes.
Purdy has 2 playoff wins and Lamar Jackson (former MVP) has one playoff win.

John Elway didn't get the credit he deserved until he won a Super Bowl. Dan Marino has a huge knock on him since he didn't. This isn't new.
The Chiefs look just like they did last year. Look at last year's schedule. They played in close games all year. Not too worried about style points in a random October game.
