Well, they do get Ill, NW and Rutgers along with Nebraska. so its not out of reach, but I still don't see them scorring more than 24 points against even the bad teams unless they get 14 points or from defense.
I personally can’t wait for KF to tell his fanbase to **** off and bring BF back next year anyways. He will blame the injuries even though injuries definitely fall under the “that’s football” realm if expected adversity.

It’s going to get quite toxic. The AD can’t can a coach after a 10 win season where they played in the CCG. But KF has to have less than 10% approval and is hanging on to that by a thin thread.

Lol yeah, let's see that happen to ISU and see if you feel the same.

How many "game is rigged" threads would that spawn, about 50?
What like the Texas game where our fumble recovery on the goal line was ruled down, or the Seneca run against FSU that somehow wasn’t in, or the Independence Bowl field goal against Bama was no good? How many more examples of this happening to us would you like? There are many many more….

Wherever I go, there I am.
Clark's right. There would be plenty of threads on here melting down over the call.

And guess what? Hawk fans would be making fun of us on their boards, just like we are now. They poked plenty of fun at us for being upset over the 2017 KSU game
The biggest difference is that they would feel compared to mock us HERE rather than there. Gotta run to CF to slap some salt in the wounds.

It doesn't matter if you're near the ball or not
I dont claim to know all the intricacies about fair catch rules but hes clearly pointing and motioning to his guy to get out of the way.

I guess the whole reason they called it is it was an "invalid fair catch signal" which might confuse the other team even though it was pretty obvious he wasn't trying to be deceptive.

I actually was surprised the foul wasn’t called right away. I looked at my wife and asked, “wasn’t he calling for a fair catch as he was running toward it?” I think he was trying to be sneaky and got caught.
I didn’t watch this fiasco but why are Hawk fans melting down? Are there backsies for signaling fair catch?

It would be absolutely gutting to lose that way...but GOTT DAYUMM!!! is it funny that it happened to Iowa.

Oh I get the schadenfreude. That's delicious. Just don't pee on me and tell me it's raining.

And the folks saying iowa didn't deserve to win that way anyway are absolutely correct.

They wouldn't have phoned in and reviewed it if there wasn't something there.

I probably would've been mad if I were an Iowa fan at the game, but Reggie Smith's explanation on TV was pretty firm
Exactly. I would be saying things like "that's a stupid ******* rule, then", rather than blaming the refs for our own offense's blatant incompetence. But that's me.

Can't motion for your guy to get away from the ball even when you are nowhere near it I guess.
You can, and almost always when that happens the ball either stops rolling or is downed by the kicking team. It just happened that this time the returner decided to take the ball and run.
