Please stop, you are not fooling anybody and it’s just sad at this point
Please, I love how anybody questions anything here then they are automatically a "troll" or Iowa fan. Should have known though, I'm dealing with ISU extremists the equivalent of Hamas when you try to mention anything Iowa on this site.

You're taking this Iowa lose awfully hard. Maybe just take a break from the message boards for a day or two.

Just wait until ISU loses a few games in basketball. Jereis was on the struggle bus because the entire conference season played out after mid-January.

Penix is overwhelming heisman fav. Might throw some on Marvin Harrison jr at 30:1 before the night is over
If I had to bet on someone today it would be JJ McCarthy to win it. Unfortunately I waited too long and his odds to win it have lowered (in a gambling way) quite a bit.

The bottom line is that if MN returner had made a fair catch signal and then ran it back for a touchdown, hawk fans and coaches would be screaming. If just 1 guy on the field thinks he fair caught the punt, it would be a huge advantage.

First - LOL, I finally get to drop the line tavern hoks use against us whenever we get hosed by the refs: can't let the refs beat you - ESPECIALLY when you only put up 10 points against a bad Minnesota defense.

Second - the best part about this is Iowa didn't even get screwed by the refs on this play. A punt returner has only two reasons to ever waive his arms when fielding a punt: 1. to call fair catch; 2. to signal to his teammates he's not going to field the punt and to get away from it. In BOTH cases the returner loses the right to advance the punt.

The moment the Iowa returner started waiving his arms like a madman the ball was dead to him - which means the refs overturning the return was the right call.

The new one Iowa fans are coming up with today - and signs that the hoks are going to get as ridiculous with this as they can to prove they're right and everyone else is wrong - the refs shouldn't be reviewing the play because a flag wasn't dropped. Uh - sure. First, that would mean you couldn't review almost anything, and second, illegal fair catch isn't a penalty; just a dead ball.

Call me old fashioned, but hiring your incompetent son to run an offense doesn't set a team up well
.
Get more than 2 ******* yards, junior. They had more turnovers than 2nd half yards

Delicious

As far as our new conference mates Houston and (potentially) UCF getting screwed by the refs against Texas and Oklahoma, all I can say is "welcome to the Big 12", the conference that has whored itself out to Texas and Oklahoma for 25 years... only to find out the whole time it's been the cuck in an NTR story with the SEC and ESPN. And despite all of the tough words the conference has said over the last two years about how they're never going to forgive Texas and Oklahoma for what it's done... they've instead chosen to keep its legs wide open for them until the end of the chapter.

Pretty sure that started with Eickholt, who tweeted a screenshot of reviewable fouls -- except the play in question isn't a foul.
