I have friends who used to go nearly monthly. They say the food is inconsistent, and the service is terrible. They haven't been in years and aren't surprised to see it go.

I went twice and that was enough. Too much good BBQ in town to mess around with that.

I agree that the food is inconsistent, never had a problem with the service though.

I thought the BBQ was worse than Jethros, which is a problem if you're a BBQ restaurant.

Rolling Smoke has been our go to for BBQ.

Let me know if they say anything about the classless Iowa fans pelting Minnesota players with full beer cans and water bottles -- which should be the bigger story than that call
A sports analyst sometimes should take of his/her fan glasses and simply consider reality. Of course, fans tuned in want to hear ranting that supports thier perspective--just like a show about politics. That drives ratings.

A fan will always think "the kick was good" or "the PI was/wasn't legit" etc., but if one does not really have any skin in the game other than being a fan (and this includes me, of course!), one can't ever be considered much of an analyst.

Miller brought it up briefly at the end of the segment.

I am kind of surprised that Trent is this football stupid regarding the review process. My expectations were already low... but dam.

I'd say his reaction has more to do with the black and gold shades he wears instead about his intelligence.

Just curious, has he ever defended ISU as vigorously after a bad call went against the Cyclones, i.e., the three-pointer shot made by Kansas in the middle of a 1-and-1 free throw? My guess is no, he has not.
