Did Herrera play football at Ames this year?

If so, was he dominant? Thought I read something while he was in Cali, he was pretty good at both.

He did not play this year.

I believe the IHSAA did not allow him to play. Pretty stupid.

Meza has Bo Basset next round. Basset was a World champ a couple years ago as like a 7th or 8th grader. Was much smaller then and not quite the generational talent that it seemed he would be but still very, very tough.

Abnormally young - summer birthdays? If he turns 17 this school year then yes, he should be a junior. Not sure his birthday but he’s very very good and still looks like a baby. I think some of these kids forgo their senior year and move to college to take gap year and try to go right away
