100%, and then Hawk fans will say, well we beat you so that means you suck.
Dude, that was our 2nd game without 5 returning starters from the gambling probe with almost exclusively underclassman starting. If we played right now, we would beat you and I don't think it would be too close.

Well to be fair we would try to run between the tackles for 2 downs then a pass thrown short of the sticks then punt for the 1st half of the game, so we might not.
If Scheelhaus got to call the offense the entire game I agree with you.

What is wrong with people. The headline of this call is that a meaningless game was impacted by the correct call.

Why does this even matter? After this past week the Big 10 west officially dropped to become the worst division in P5 football AGAIN per Sagarin. Based on Sagarin's quantification the gap between the Big 12 and the BTW is similar to the gap between the BTW and the Sun Belt East.

Nobody cares. The division and the teams in it are a joke, and everybody outside the fans of those teams knows it.
OUR RETURN.

I'm pointing how stupid our fans who call these guys Hawk propaganda are. They went on an absolute screed about how bad the Noel call was. Murph and the Hawk producer guy BOTH said it was worse than the DeJean one. Fales picked the DeJean one as worse, but with the caveat that he made that choice only due to the timing of the play, and that the call on Noel was a more egregious mistake of the rules.

After this thread spent all last week talking about how they'd never stick up for ISU getting hosed, they spent 10 minutes yesterday doing just that.

We would lose to Iowa because, well, Matt loses to Iowa.

Semantics, but may be confusing to some when using 'punt return'. Noel's out of bounds call was during a 'kick-off' return.

Pollard on now - Paraphrasing here but he said beer sales in Jack Trice likely will not happen with him as AD because season ticket holders/donors tell him separately they do not want it and internet posters will not change that decision.

Also said Johnny’s will be moved to Scheman building in 2 years- says it’s too crowded.

This is so dumb. The donors that have access to alcohol don't want the rest of the poors to have access to alcohol? Go figure. At least pretend to care about the gameday experience of the average fan...

would be very curious if he took an actual poll of season ticket holders what the results would show? this seems to me like he doesnt want alcohol and hes had several likeminded people tell him they dont either so hes decided thats the pulse of the fanbase

A lot more than just the donors don’t want it. A lot of people like the ability to go out at half. Far more than the vocal posters here who want beer sales in the stadium. Can’t have both.

I’d say far more season ticket holders would prefer the ability to go out at half compared to allowing beer sales in the stadium.

I think this is Murph’s big chance. Isn’t her McCafe off being Tyrese Halliburton’s water boy for the Pacers?

I wonder if Con Air ever brags about that time that Iowa's decent team beat ISU's horrible team in Hilton TH's sophomore year like it stacks up to making $100s of millions.

NC State and Indiana are comparable (to ISU) schools that sell both alcohol and allow re-entry

This must be from the season ticket holders that are over the age of 65-70... They do a great job of killing the excitement in my section every game. I am going to move seats next year and go where it's more fun and ok to cheer during the games.

We all know the beer is cheaper at our cars, than it would be in the stadium. However, if beer were to be sold inside, the school could benefit from the sales.

It's 100% the old folks saying no to this. Basically saying that ISU fans aren't responsible to purchase a beer in the stadium.
I sat in the Sukup club during the TCU game, everyone was drinking around me and it was fine.

The selling alcohol in stadium argument is just so childish to me. All the people on Twitter who are for it just sound like children throwing a tantrum, to the point it makes me want alcohol sales less.

Did he say anything about Farmageddon?
Said that people don't understand how complicated conference schedules are, basically that we're all stupid and haven't heard of the 3-6-6 matrix before. Stupid. Also that we can't have people want 3 rivals but then people with 0 rivals lol.
