Maryland walk-off FG as time expires to beat the Huskers! Huck the Fuskers!
Well, at least I know my day won't be a total loss, regardless of what happens the rest of the day!

It's still a valid question, despite what Tech did today...
Not saying it isn’t, but you are missing the point. Only reason people are even bringing it up is because Tech won in Lawrence. Tech isn’t winning if they are playing against Bean. A third string QB is such a massive step down and Bean is basically a starter at this point.

Tech loses and the questions aren’t as big because we don’t have the whole, “How the heck did we lose to KU when they can’t even beat Tech at home?!?!”

We all know we lost, because our offense was complete garbage for over half the game.

KU's qb may have had the knee trouble because of how we tackled him near the knee late in last week's game, and the reason we tackled him near the knee instead of a normal tackle is because they had been holding a lot and that was the play where the holding was finally so obvious with so much pressure they had to call it.

Am I way off? Seems like the same area where we got to him on that holding penalty play?

Yeah, Bean really impressed me last week. He was the reason we lost.

Nope….. CMC is the reason we lost.

CMC has done great things for ISU, no question, but every year we’re talking about all the close games we could have easily won, and should have won. That will always be the case with CMC folks.

Explain to me why we went back to the Iowa/Ohio game plan last week against an explosive KU team? Especially when we found out that passing to set up the run works better? Because CMC is too stubborn and conservative folks.

If KU blows out TT the questions probably wouldn't be as big. If KU wins a close game, I think the questions would there.

establish the run boner in first half = the loss

The blown call on that return statistically probably did gift about 4.6 points in KU's direction though. Just looking at it purely with numbers and probabilities. The chances of zero ISU points with a basic correct call are incredibly low.

Yes but the reason it would have even been close or in this case a loss is because they had to trot out their third string QB the entire game basically. QB1 to QB2 is a big drop usually but guys are QB3 for a reason and it showed today. He made a couple of throws but he was understandably quick to get rid of it and had two that should have been picked.

Ok Clones need to get it done tonight. Get win 6 and we are back in front of at least KU in the standings.

Good grief, Nebraska had an actual chance to win the west until they choked the past two weeks. now they need help to make a bowl.

Unlimited Big Ten media money, they can just keep rolling the dice for miracle coach every two years.

It's been a cluster of tied records near the top of the standings all year. A lot of people are in denial that there won't be some tie breaker criteria for one or both spots. All it takes is Texas losing one game and there are an insane amount of possibilities. OK State could easily drop one and instead of being in the drivers seat be exactly where everybody else is.
