So, how does OU hang 50 on ISSU and WVU, but look so ordinary against teams WVU/ISU would/have beat?
Must really work on scheming against that 3-3-5?

Might change this yearI don't disagree, like the Big 12 has had 2 up until next year.
parity in Big 12. No free squares like the Big 10 elite get week after week. Texas has also been squeaking by against team at the bottom of the Big 12 standings all year long. Hopefully there time is finally up next week. So, how does OU hang 50 on ISSU and WVU, but look so ordinary against teams WVU/ISU would/have beat?
Nobody's merging with the SEC, lol.No one is suggesting the Big 12 will merge with the SEC moron.
I know, that was the point of my post. The post I quoted was suggesting a B1G SEC merger. Your comprehension skill are top notch.Nobody's merging with the SEC, lol.

I like ya Gonzo. You are a good Hawk.Lol, no it wasn't.
I don’t think they even got in the car hahaWhat happened in the Okie State game? We’re they just completely asleep at the wheel?

What cracks me up, is given the choice, pretty much all of us would join the B10 if given the chance.
Circumstances matter.
You think the actual game product is going to be better in the Big 12 than the B1G moving ahead? Most would join for the financial reasons and future security (a lack of security caused by the big 10 mind you). Not for the actual game product.

Fair enough.I would much rather watch ISU games vs the big 12 than most teams in the big 10 yes. Most big 12 teams bring a much more fun brand of football. Iowa isn't the only team that is downright painful to watch.
Everyone plays everyone else at least twice every 5 years. For the 5 good teams in the B1G it will be really good. We'll see what happens with Washington.
Will they make sure the good teams all play one another?
After those it's not much different.
Independent. Bring back the old days when Notre Dame, Penn State, Pitt, Florida State, Miami, etc, etc, weren’t bound by conferences and built their own schedules.Meechigan allegedly had a board of regents meeting where they brought up the idea of leaving the Big 10. I seriously doubt this ever goes anywhere but still, it kind of cracks me up. Where would they go? ACC that will get raided by the SEC? The SEC?

Some of you seem to think the B1G is going to be 5 elites/bluebloods and then 13 Indianas. Just not the case.I’m think the point here is that the Big10 is going to have a large spread of haves and have nots. And a majority of their games are going to be rather lopsided as a result. Yes, there will be some good games of top teams going up against each other, but that’s not going to be every week.
The Big12 isn’t going to have those top teams (initially at least), but the level of competition will be much more even than the Big10. So there won’t be those games where ESPN is going to gush over for weeks on end, but week to week there’s going to be competitive games.
