There seem to be alot of folks out there that want it real bad for some reason. Being talented and likeable is offensive apparently. The rumors that this was the end of Brock Purdy’s NFL story were greatly exaggerated.
Some people hate Purdy. Some people hate the 49ers. Some people hate anything to do with SF. Some people just enjoy having something to hate. F them all. Brock rocks. So do my Niners. Let him/them prove the haters wrong every chance they get. It seems to make them even MORE miserable and that's ok by me.There seem to be alot of folks out there that want it real bad for some reason. Being talented and likeable is offensive apparently.

It's officially a home game for SF. Jags fans all bailed.

I keep forgetting Beathard is still playing ANYwhere after he was a big "meh" as a 49er.
I always think of how he looks like that dude from Nickleback.I will always read that name as “beat hard”.
It’s also a reaction to the overreaction. Football of all the sports is truly a team game. QBs get unparalleled praise for wins. For others I don’t think that they can stand that they missed the boat so badly, that somehow it’s Purdy’s fault that he defied expectations (well, I guess it is his fault, but that’s besides the point). So they figure if they hate hard enough, they can wish their hate into reality and then can say “see??? I was right all along - Purdy was a fraud the whole time.”
