Could always buy tickets at the non-decrepit stadium on the South Side. But you guys are afraid of getting assaulted, right? ;)

Hey that stadium is nice... wait till we're done designing all the stuff across 35th street that the Sox are putting in. I'll be up there on Wed for more meetings...

I LOVE the Cell. It's gotten better every year and has turned into a top home environment in the AL. The surroundings leave a bit to be desired, but it's nice place to watch a game and they seem committed to improve it as often as possible.

Don't you mean Comiskey Park? I am not a White Sox fan, since I root for the Cubs, but it just doesn't see right to call it the Cell or the other long, hey look we sold out our ballpark name, name.

I would have a bigger problem with it except Comiskey was a royal *****. His unwillingness to pay his players what they felt they deserved, as well as other things, helped lead in part to the Black Sox Scandal.

Plus US Cellular has done their best in their partnership with the Sox. That and the Cell's a pretty sweet nickname as far as corporate partnerships go.

Finally got two tickets to the April 16 Cubs-Cards game in the second row of the lower level. Pretty pumped for that. I got in a second time on my other computer 5 minutes later and couldn't get any tickets for any games in July, August, September or October.

Well, you're going to love some of the stuff that's in the plans for around the stadium as well. Gonna be a great destination for a game soon...

Just got 4 tickets for Cubs Pirates in August. My wife has bee on line since this morning. Not what I would call the most efficient process:no:

I was in four times in the first 30 minutes, but had computer issues. I had about 25 windows open on one computer, and another 25 on the other most of the morning. I would say the more browsers you have open, the better your odds, but I'm no mathematician. I ended up missing out on opening day tickets, though. :-( I got about 4-5 other games, though, so I'm psyched about that...

Just got in. Selection is pretty terrible by now. Tried about any combination for any Friday, no luck. I was excited to be able to get last series of the year vs. d-backs but no tickets really available when I chose use best available option.

Saturdays are pretty well done. There was a Marlins one available, but still couldn't get any by doing the best available option.

it's now time to play StubHub roullette...

Also, for anyone not from Chicago or been there regularly... if you plan a time to go, there's a slew of "ticket sellers" at the corner of Addison/Sheffield, right where you come out of the CTA station. You can ALWAYS get tickets there, on game day, anwhere you want to sit, for any price including face value, about 1.5-2 hrs prior to first pitch. REALLY EASY to do. So if you're desire is to go, do that, and then find yourself a spot at Murphy's for a 16 oz old style and be happy...
