I have to ask a question about this metric.... Minnesota is at 992, but the Naval Academy is 969...if I had a child who was interested in both institutions, I would think MN would be the better choice, correct? Or is this a meaningless statistic meant to reward a Power 5 college whose football team is having a bad season...I can understand why parents these days experience existential dread regarding their charges....Geez Louise....what a mess....I do not envy any parent in this environment.

Unless your child is playing football, those numbers don't matter.

And Texas returns the 2nd Half kickoff for a TD. Unless they do a major choke job they will be playing in Arlington next weekend.

If Iowa loses next week…. there will be many Iowa fans blaming it on injuries. As if without the injuries they would have won.

Just be prepared for it.

I don’t love it but they deserve it. They finally are dialed in with the talent they have. Legitimately one of best teams in America.

If anything it might be more annoying they waited until they were out the door to make it happen.

While yes, the SEC has money, I think there's a case to be made that Texas might not have been out the door had they had more success over the last decade, for which their conference alignment became a partial scapegoat.

I tend to agree. What if you had swapped OU and UTs results the last 15 years? In that scenario I think UT is happy to stay here as the big fish in the pond.

For sure. At least they'd have to think about it a little more. Once they were already not dominating the big 12, the only difference became the paycheck size.

I feel like the camera for Oregon Oregon St is being shot from a satellite.

I’ll say a one loss Texas v a one loss Oregon (both conf champs) for the 4 seed would be one of the most closest playoff decisions we’ve had.

Assumes Georgia wins out, big ten east beats Iowa, FSU wins out and CFP doesn’t put the Mich/OSU loser above Oregon or Texas next week

Personally I'd give Oregon the slight edge.

geez, Playoffs are going to be a mess.

there is a legit 8 teams that are in the mix for the final 4.
I am thinking FSU loses one more due to the QB out.

If Oregon beats Wash in the Pac12 game, then that gets messy.
you have a similar situation in the SEC with Georgia and Bama.

if I am the committee and the NCAA, I am hoping Georgia wins, FSU loses, Washington Beats Oregon and Texas wins the B12. Otherwise, there is going to be some touch decisions.

1. Georgia
2. Mich/OSU winner
3. Washington
4. Texas

Because of the strength of PAC 12?
I think Oregon would have a better win and a better loss.
Washington>Bama>OU right now.

Just my opinion. If TX blows out their B12 title opponent I could see them getting it.

I thought that win against Alabama earlier this year would be more valuable than it actually is.
