Arrogant but correct.

Campbell was coaching himself out of a job at the beginning of the year because of his fear of just trusting the players and assistants and letting them do their jobs.

Once he turned things loose, team had more fun, and wins followed.

This team should have easily won the Ohio, Iowa, and KU games.

I am amazed at how personal so many take any criticism, however valid, of Matt Campbell.
Yep, put a brand new team into a few weeks of practice and they should come out to start the season as world beaters. Good thing none of the other teams practice. You are so cognitively impaired you can't remember what product was on the field last year.

Anyone that can't see the improvement made each week from this team and the potential it has now wouldn't know a football from their *******.

Oh wait! You are the magic behind the progress aren't you - come on - level with us. You have been guiding CMC on the journey and now you are butt hurt you aren't getting the credit! Oh we are so blessed to be among giants like you, forgive me for not genuflecting appropriately and taking personal shots at you.

Let's face it. It are doing yourself a disservice hanging out with the likes of us. Maybe you should hang out over on the Cornhuskers board - think their is another coach worthy of your services over there.

CYA loser.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with how young the team is

What an amazing coaching job! What this years staff has done with this really talented but super young team has been astonishing! Credit to all of the players for working to get better all season long. They are obviously very coachable to have improved this much! I am very excited to see what bowl game we are going to win and to future years of success.

The criticism isn't taken personally. It is the grandiose thinking and arrogance that you actually believe it was your ******** that changed things for the team. Get help!

KU was the better team that night, no shame in that.

OhIo is good enough that a team with the flu on the road can't overcome.

Iowa will beat Cambpell until he decides to stop trying to beat them at their own game.

We shouldn't have "easily beat" any of those teams.

Right? The Michigan game was on…..Fox. The ISU game was on…….Fox

People with Direct TV don't get it due to a contract dispute. I did not know this until last weekend when I expected to watch the UT game at a hotel we were staying in.

I don't know quite how to search this, but I'm curious what ISU's record is this year's in games where they score first.

Hypothetical and completely unimportant, but as KSU was driving at the end I was wondering if thet'd go for 2 to win in regulation. Convention says tie at home, go for the win on the road. But they seemed to be able to pick up 3 yards whenever it was needed.

Turned out there was no need to worry!

I was wondering that myself.

Some records set in this one. And I wonder about one more. How about a record for, "Average Points per Play." 42 points divided by 35 plays = 1.2 points per play.

Gotta be up there.

I kind of got the feeling that KSU thought they were going to just kind of get things on track and take care of things against this lowly ISU team and flinched in the end when things really tightened up.

No. We lost 5 starters including the QB and RB. We are a young team. As we gain experience we are getting better. You don’t seem to comprehend that. And the crazy part is that you somehow think that your complaining has led to our success today.

Remember. Your dumb ass wanted Campbell fired. Weeks ago.

People are allowed to like the program and not the coach or coaches.

Campbell didn't pull his head out until he started getting openly heckled.

A simple "thank you" for helping light a fire under his butt suffices.
You're right.....Campbell had no clue something had to change after the Ohio game, until some dip-**** heckled another adult regarding a sporting event.

Go shake your fist and yell at the Jacobsen over the next few weeks......the team will be busy getting better inside, but this way you can take credit for it.

And a bunch of new coaches. The downside to firing assistants is that it takes a while for the new ones to start to mesh. So even though it was the right decision, the were going to be some growing pains.
