A whole lot to work on, and a whole lot learned. Need a ton more consistency from a few players not named Tamin, and we need to do something to get Omaha involved when he gets minutes.

I have no doubt that TJ and the guys will go to work immediately with what they've learned.

Atleast Rob is playing his ass off. The rest of the team not so much.

Honestly, I think they are all playing hard. The defense these last 60 seconds had been really tough. I think they've played badly for a lot of tonight, but the effort has been fine. They really need some plays to put them in the best positions for success.

Yes they did. You can’t review something that wasn’t called - out of bounds in this case.

I don't know. Maybe the 5 Star MCD's AA could do something to help if he actually ******* played more than 1-2 minute spurts.

What has he done that shows you he would make a difference?

To me he looks like he's still trying to figure out where to cover on defense, what to do with the ball if it comes to him, etc.

Is that what the team is missing?

I'm not sure if he has the skills on the team to do much. He recruited grit and one naturally offensively skilled freshman.

Athletically each team ISU has played looks like grown as men compared to them for length, speed, and skills.

This tournament has been a pretty harsh reality.
Nobody's been able to consistently keep GIlbert or Tamin in front of them. MM has had massive mismatches on the block much of the tournament. But up front, yes. The length this tournament has been a real challenge for King.

Skills are fine. Should we expect to score in the 80s consistently, no. But slogging in the 60s is an underachievement.

I think they will get better at both ends of the court, and they will have to.

Do you watch the games? Biliew is very athletic, but doesn't look strong or on offense look for his shot. His game looks a lot like Watson's did last year,

I think expectation have to change. Maybe he can be a 20mpg guy in February, but I feel like his offense is couple year project.
He doesn’t touch the ball on offense. Kind of hard to “look for his shot” when he’s in the game like for four possessions

Omaha's a mystery. He hasn't done anything to warrant additional time. But he also hasn't gotten much time either.

Exactly my point. He's oozing with talent and athleticism. Put him on the ******* floor. Hell, maybe we could get some ******* fast breaks if anything.

Yep...this is a bad team. There is almost no basketball IQ, just hurling their bodies at the other team and hoping something happens. The lack of finesse over the last two years was sometimes made up for by smart defending, but this team doesn't have that. They just have a lot of out-of-control energy, turn it over all the time, chuck the ball up with no skill. This could be a really rough season. The guys look lost out there.
I nominate this for the most overused term by the ignorant on this board.
