I'm not a vindictive guy, and I honestly wish those guys well wherever they go, but with the odd timing that could have hurt the team in that game last night, I will be small for a moment and note that it probably sucked watching that game and have the announcers talk all night about how much you weren't needed.

I’m sure it did

The 7 to end the first half was due to the botched punt return that shouldn’t have happened. We shouldn’t have had guys blocking downfield like that on a night where a punt could go anywhere. Then one of the TDs in the 2nd half came after that ******** PI call on Freyler on 4th down in the end zone. Take those away and the defensive effort looks much better.

It looks fine with that. Again, the weather.

Last week he looked like Barry Sanders. So that's a pretty solid combination.
He’s already been compared to Hall, Sanders, and last night Brando likened him to Walter ******* Payton. This kid is special

Sama was something else last night. He looked like a bruising fullback going through the line and a sprinter in the open field. Still surprised about Norton and Sanders. I thought both those guys were pretty solid backs. I'm sure that everyone on the offensive side of the ball had a lot of criticism and soul searching after the 7 yards rushing against Texas.

The defensive effort was amazing, given the number of plays they played.

Not to mention the strategy. Heacock made them earn every point the hard way in a snow game.

Those 4th and 7’s that K-State converted made them earn it. Defense played their hearts out. On the field constantly. But the offense won this game. No doubt.

Great night for Abu. We are going to see a lot more of this if our blocking can consistently get him to the second level.

Speaking of blocking, checkout out the block by Klotz #49 lined up at FB. Takes 2 or 3 guys out of the play, with a solid pancake on one of them

I don’t think you can take much at all from that game due to the conditions. Obviously Sama is shifty and fast, but a lot of those long runs wouldn’t have been for scores in normal weather. I just think that was an incredibly fun game to watch and win. Everything else I don’t think it’s worth projecting.

I'm impressed with what he did regardless of conditions. He'll probably never have another game with those types of stats, but I think it's safe to say minimum he's going to be a pretty good college running back.
