I shouldn't imply Oasis was an unknown in the U.S. -- their albums always did well.

But for some reason the U.S. Billboard charts just did not like them...



Banging out #1 after #1 in Europe and outside of "Wonderwall" nada in the U.S. is weird.

Sure. Lyrically there are some issues.

But Benny absolutely sings from the soul of his shoes to heaven above closong this out.

Yeah, its definitely a bit surprising in both directions.

Like, I saw your post and was like "no way I heard them all the time in the 90s", but back then I would have mostly been listening to the alternative station here (107.5 the dot)
