I understand. But if someone is stupid enough to try to run through you and you have your hand up, where does that stop. I could run my eye into a dudes hand when he has it up int he air trying to guard someone else? I understand where you are coming from, but Tre didn't move toward him, he might have been just raising his hand to defend the guy that was cutting to the basket on the other side. I'm not saying you're not right, but boy has the game changed. Everyone just needs to ram their head into other people's arms as much as they can. That's a good rule.

The guy didn't just run into Tre's elbow.

Tre may have been there, but he raised his elbow up as the guy got there.

If he doesn't do that, it's probably a no-call which is better than giving your opponent free points.
