Would be interested to know if the one seed has ever lost in the championship game.
If they are true to “just the best” with fairness out the window you have to do this and also consider seeding Washington below Texas and Alabama.
FSU is the one team in mix I don’t think can win two. I think Georgia and osu might be able to win two and they seem out.

From a quick glance I think #1 has only even lost once from the second to last week to the final rankings, so its a pretty small sample size to use as precedent.
That seems like a recipe for financial ruin.
Their offense struggled to score more than 1 TD all year against west teams, how are they going to move the ball on Michigan? This will be a carbon copy of their game against Penn State.

Washington ran the Pac-12 gauntlet, there's no way you can put a 1 loss team ahead of them.
It creates an interesting dynamic for FSU tonight. They will feel the need to pour it on Louisville. And that creates pressure.
It is what it is. They don't like Iowa any more than any other "insignificant" program. The B1G is OSU and Michigan only per the ******* orthodoxy. No one else counts until the big PAC teams arrive.
