What if they did the NFL playoffs like this? Sure this team got a good enough record and won the tie breakers to get the 7 seed, but their quarterback got injured a few weeks ago so we'll go ahead and slip the 8 seed into their spot.

With the playoff expanding no need to do this but if the 4 team stayed things would get real wild
And I hope they get most of the AP final number 1 votes just as a FU to the committee.
I’ll watch the Iowa State bowl game and that’s probably it. Next year just ISU. Kids make it easy to just do that anyways as far as time, hah.
Suing to get in the playoff is a fruitless endeavor.
But I am wondering if this could somehow be brought up as evidence in a case to get out of the ACC GOR.
The ACC label how now done irreparable harm to the University. Maybe you can make a case that the conference is not living up to their end of the bargain. I obviously am no lawyer and have no idea what’s in the GOR, but maybe there’s something there…
Dude I’m not twisting, I said this non stop yesterday was going to be a result. If you thought different then you haven’t been paying attention to the CFP.
I want FSU in, but again, this was going to happen with the results we got this year.
I only watch the CFP games here and there. Big 12 teams I always watch, but that's about it. It's a joke.
The committee did what they were put in place to do. Create justifications for things not clearly proven on the field or by computer rankings, and provide a result more to the liking of TV and conferences with cultural entitlement. Because it just means more or something.

It’s no joke, FSU has been doing everything they can to break up/get out of the ACC for the last year +. Now they just got left out of the playoffs because of, in part, conference affiliation. They can call it the eye test, but that really means conference affiliation and brand.
You're not some savant, a lot of people were saying this would happen including me. That has nothing to do with the fact that the scenario I laid out for deciding the last spot in the NFL playoffs is not that different than what just happened.
Then what point are you trying to make other than “I was right” by commenting on every post feeling bad for FSU?
