Yeah what's going on there?
Interesting for sure. Not sure I would have ever pictured devries from waukee being drakes best player along with the sandfort boys playing huge mins for Iowa and Omaha getting zero mins on a 30 min blowout against Iowa.
You know that internally hurt Omaha not playing tonight Odd but I am sure Tj has is figured out .

I felt pretty good that they wouldn't have an answer for our guards, and that we'd be in the paint all night while they were shooting jumpers. Really surprised that we turned them over that much, as they have been handling the ball pretty well. They haven't played against the kind of ball pressure that we bring though. Great win!

I'm guessing that he didn't want to add to the pressure that Omaha puts on himself. Hopefully he uses these next four games to get him comfortable.

True but Purdue is the B1G bell cow for the past 2 years. ISU is but an echo in the Big 12. Leave it to a B1G or Iowa fan to exaggerate because they are getting their underwear handed to them.

I think 7/8 in big 12 has been pretty comparable to big ten champ when games actually get played. Look how ISU crushed Wisconsin in tournament despite being a road team.

It's sending a message. It's a **** move that Fran does every time they are losing big with 2 minutes to go. There is zero reason to press reserves just to try and whittle the score down and not kill your metrics too bad. TJ knew it and I am glad he left the starters in. Sucks we couldn't get the backups in, but is what it is.
Good reasoning. makes sense

Nothing better than a stomping of the hokroaches.

Although I will say, they don’t seem to have the jackasses on the roster like usual. It was weird not seeing an Iowa player that wasn’t 100% punchable. When was the last time that happened?
Payton Sandfort?

He's not ready to contribute while we're up 30? A McD's All American!? Come on brotato, we both know that it's more than that.

It likely isn't more than that.

He flinched last time out and probably just needs more time.

Doing this 'concerns' weirdness after a much needed win like that helps nobody.

Rulzzz Predicton awards - Wanted to give the edge to @2076 because he had 2 posts and was getting crap for them, but given we were up 30 ish for a large stretch I had to give the edge to @rosshm16

1.
H**ks used up all their set-a-moving-screen-and-hit-a-25-footer luck last night. No such luck tonight. Clones by 35.

2.
Iowa is terrible, we win by a minimum of 12 points.
I’m not scared, **** Iowa and that dbag coach

3, goes to a Hawk poster

I'm surprised how pessimistic some of you are. I think your defense will swarm Iowa and lead to some very poor shooting. Defensively, Iowa is a trainwreck. I have you guys winning by double digits.

34 and 36 minutes for Lipsey and Gilbert. Should get some rest now though.
