Liked BRE's quick shot put shot instead of him dribbling and putting up something contested. Interior passing by King more noticable past month.
Looks like a young Will Forte to me.Is it just me or does Brock Harding kinda look like Tom Hanks little buddy from Big, found his own Zoltar machine?

He did seem a little awe struck tonight in post game. Although clear he’s pretty shy and not comfortable behind the mic. Leaned over and whispered something to Rob and you could hear Rob say “I got you”.I think my favorite part came from the post game show. Keshon said before this the best crowd he played in front of was a road game in the Mountain West conference. It sounded like the crowd tonight really meant a lot to him.
Yeah the ball rotated around the arc from one corner to the other. And every pass I thought they were going to shoot but every pass kept looking like a better shot. Then after Gilbert had driven through the hawk "defense" for 30+ minutes he makes a killer dish that nobody saw coming.Yeah, and IIRC, that was at the end of an offensive set where we were moving their defense around at will.
We ate their Perkins, kicked down their Sand Fort, broke their Dix, and Harding broke a sweat.
“Repulse the monkey”Tony Perkins always makes me think of the cult classic comedy character Tony Perkis.

He will be the winningest coach in Iowa history before he ever plays a Sweet 16 game. This quote:
This reminded me of the game 2 years ago in Ames, where you could almost see glimpses of Mad Fran, but the game got too far out of hand for him to fully react. You could tell he had kind of given up even before halftime I felt. I think he sat down the entire 2nd half. He had just kind of conceded defeat.Somebody gave Fran some xanax before the game or something. He was not his usual spaztastic self.
We dominated the first half, and then just mercilessly toyed with them in the 2nd.I’d say my favorite part tonight was the fast start and honestly we never seemed to let up. We had killer instinct tonight. Hope that continues.
I think Bowen could be a nice player. Only guy that had the stones to take the ball straight at us.Some of my other favorite things from tonight:
1. The "You Need Caitlyn" chant from the student section.
2. #2 for EIU getting miffed about something halfway through the second half. He would just stare at the ISU bench. I predicted he would do something dumb, right before the intentional foul on BRE. He cut out early in the handshake line. I think he is going to be a problem for Fran.
3. Great timing for the playing of Juicy Wiggle. Best I've seen at a BB game.
4. Met EIU's Dasonte Bowen's dad at our post-game tailgate. Really nice guy. He was very complimentary of our Hilton environment.
Gilbert hoop, Lipsey interception on the inbounds at halfcourt to Gilbert for 3.
Just rewatched this clip and noticed Keshon pulled the “T” out taunting Iowa to take a timeout. Not as blatant as CG last year against TexasThat was such an amazing play - not just an interception, but he launched in the air and dished to Gilbert before a hard landing. Just totally sacrificing his body to take the ball and give a teammate an open look. Blew the freaking roof off Hilton!
I don't get up for the big bball games all that often, but this one might be top 5 that I've attended.
