Oklahoma was really the team of the 4 team playoff era that underachieved the most at 0-4.

Next is 0-2 Notre Dame but with matchups who knows, only two games.

Penn State is probably the biggest winner of expanding to 12 teams since they spend all eternity ranked between 6th and 12th. Without even looking it up I'm sure they have way more weeks ranked in the top ten than any other team that hasn't made the playoff.

I have only watched them really tonight and the first win over Oregon but I gathered the momentum was to give him the Heisman but he had a few weeks of inconsistency scattered around season that derailed it?

It's funny even on the west coast I am way more likely to watch the early games and I don't watch much Pac. I watch the 9am and noon games and ISU, no night games unless it's ISU.

I haven't watched Washington a ton, but every time I have I've seen him make a couple jaw dropping throws. Tonight was full of them. Guy has incredible arm talent and seems to be pretty good in the decision making department. A lot of the problems tonight were coaching. I haven't watched Washington enough to know if that's common or they just weren't handling the stakes of the game very well.

I’ve said for about 3 years now that I really think Sark has been changing the culture one class at a time and getting the right guys in the program. They took a huge step forward and I expect they will fair pretty well. But their Saturday’s are going to be a lot harder starting next fall and there are 5 or so other programs in the SEC with just as much ability to be top any given year.

That's the thing. They could have dominated the Big 12 and nearly guaranteed themselves a spot at the 12 seat CFP table every year. Playing that SEC schedule lessens those odds considerably.

Washington coach made some headscratching decisions in the conference title game, too. Him and Harbaugh seem a lot alike. Some loose marbles.

I’m assuming that second game kicking off so late had to hurt viewership for it. I called it quits by 10:30pm central. Heck if you were on the eastern time zone the thing didn’t kick off until 9pm!

I'm not sure what to think of the title game, but Washington is battled tested thats for sure.

They already had a much better conference, then scheduled Boise State, Tulsa, and Michigan State in the non-conf.

I want Washington but think Michigan will grind out a win. Think the injury to the Washington RB will hurt the Huskies in blitz pick-up (which Michigan does quite a bit) & short yardage.
