Five different clones have scored at least four points. Only two for UH.

Tremendous first half. Lipsey's energy and leadership have been so important (but, dang, hit your free throws). It seems like Momcilovic gets better every game; he's getting his shot off better and is moving his feet better on D.

Tre's offensive limitations are becoming more clear to me.

But it's nice to have multiple options. The guys got it done for a half, anyway. Roll, Clones.

There were at least a few times I noticed Milan playing good defense or at least his length was enough to cover for himself which is incredible for a freshman who wasn't supposed to be a great defender vs this opponent.

About as perfect a half as you can draw up against a physical team like Houston. Really need to set the tone in the first few minutes out of half. A nice little 6-0 type of run would do wonders.

Tom Creen is an idiot.
Probably why he doesn't have a coaching job.

If you had told me we'd have 8 assists at half, at home, against Houston I'd say that can't be good. But we are taking care of the ball and consistently playing hard. Would be nice to have some of those shots around the rim and that ********, step back 3 that was hit OVER Ward back. Could be up 15 or 16.

Just need to maintain the energy and lay smart on the defensive end. If so I think we got this.

Like that Kyle Green has coached numerous guys an UNI with similar frames and athletic profiles to be effective team defenders.

Nothing he's not used to. In fact, I'd argue it's firmly in his comfort zone.

Got a chance.

Gonna need to find a way to keep them off the boards and find some offense.

Don't know what it looks like on TV, but it seems incredibly physical in person. The refs are really letting them play. We just have to keep imposing our will on defense.

Houston is going to score we just can’t get in a long offensive drought. Ball movement and pace.

Not turning the ball over is eliminating transition ops, which is where they really want to shine. Need to take care of the ball as its a double win (more possessions and less points off TOs for them).

The other thing is Ward staying away from dumb fouls. He's an animal out there.
