When has this defense traveled? Didn't do too well in it's only road game.
I think we’ve been pretty good on the road under TJ.

He was a McDonalds All American, 5 star recruit, on U19 Team USA. Any of his peers not playing on their Teams?
It's all good that ISU is winning, but I understand why people thought Omaha would be playing. Expectation was that he would be one of the best players on the Team. Would ISU not be better if he actually was better than Tre King? That's the depressing part. The thought was a recruit like that raises Teams ceiling. And he was talked about as a one year player not a development. I would say for me it's more confusing then depressing, but I get it.
All of us figured Omaha would be contributing, but it’s obviously not happening this season. Hope he can improve his game in the off season. He was a McDonalds All American, 5 star recruit, on U19 Team USA. Any of his peers not playing on their Teams?

Would we be better if he was better than a current starter? Well yeah. Is it a realistic expectation for a true freshman to come in and be better than a grown ass man that's one of the oldest players in the conference? Hell no, especially for a post player. I feel like you haven't been paying attention to college basketball over the last decade if that's your expectation. He was a McDonalds All American, 5 star recruit, on U19 Team USA. Look at this way - We thought this team might be good since we expected one of this years recruiting class come in and make an immediate impact.
Which is exactly what is happening, just a different freshman making than impact than people thought.
Some recruits get it sooner than others. Hard to predict which ones.
Thompson for OSU was an 5* for Kansas. a few years later he is meh player for OSU.
Dailey for OSU played with Omaha on the FIBA team. Yea, he played tonight but if OSU has King and Ward, he doesn't play either.
Remember the recruiting class with Wigginton?
Agree with recruiting is hard to predictActually, he still is an McD AA.

I am just confused why people keep acting like it is strange for fans to be disappointed. People believed the hype. There was talk this summer about him starting I believe

Well F!!! I am snowed in. I got about a mile down the gravel road and got stuck in a huge drift. Had to had the neighbor bring his end loader to pull me out. Then I tried the 3 other directions and all drifted too.
Pretty f-ing pissed
Let me tell you about CF articles about ISU's OL every August.
I had no expectations as never saw him play before. Maybe I miss read, but thought there was threads here that suggested he would start. SI article from May'23 says he was potential lottery pick this year. And I don't watch much basketball outside of ISU, but think Karaban started last year on UCONN and just looked up he was a 4 star recruit.Would we be better if he was better than a current starter? Your first statement was my point really.
