His season started out rough but he definitely improved as the season went on. Biggest issue for him I think is he needs to lose some weight and get more agile. Talk is when he got to Bama he was close to 400 pounds and he was playing the season around 370.

I realize it's an extremely long shot, at best, but does anyone know if he had much of a relationship with Clanton?

The early rumblings about Proctor seem to be about Ohio State. There is some Iowa stuff out there too, but I have to imagine most of that is from him being committed there prior to switching to Alabama and not new information.

He’s going to be offered so much $$$. Can Iowa afford him or will he give them a hometown discount?

Ohio St would be interesting. He was a true freshman starting in the SEC so major caveats here, he didn't look great. It got better in the second half of the year but some of that was due to Alabama protecting him more. The potential is still top of the first round draft pick so everyone and their brother will be talking to him. Iowa or ISU would sign him in a heartbeat.

The only concern I'd have if I were him about Ohio St is there's maybe above a 50% chance OSU will have a new coaching staff in 2025 and he may not be able to transfer again. Plus Ohio St passes the ball a ton and I'm not sure that fits with his skillset.

I don't pretend to know everyone's rosters, but I would think Michigan or PSU would be a better fit. I think if I were him I'd want to be in more of a run first offense that didn't make me pass protect 50 times a game. Michigan might lose Harbaugh but the replacement is right on staff.

If they have a new coaching staff, that allows a player a 30 day window to transfer without having to sit out. That is the rule I believe. So even if Ohio State cleaned house, he would still be able to transfer
