Right back on track after BYU beatdown. I'm completely happy with 3-2 from our first five, and hope to see 5-2 after next week.

1-4 wouldn’t have necessarily meant were a bad team. Just going by metrics a 25th best team goes 1-4 in that stretch only being favored vs okst. Which is why I don’t think it’s crazy metrics show us between 5th and 15th.

TCU never had possession with the margin being less than 4. Of course winning by double digits would have been preferred, but that final 3 made the score/game look even closer or more tense than it was.

Add in our missed free throws in the last 35 sec, that could/should have been around an 8 point win.

It wasn’t so much trying to blow a lead, but not scoring a bucket for over four minutes at the end was the biggest problem I saw. Score on half of those possessions and it’s a double digit win.

As I said, TCU really picked up the defensive intensity late. There's a reason why we didn't score in those 4 minutes.

Great win on the road, throw in we were without our point guard and best player a great team effort. Throw in 27 TCU turnovers, we making seven 3-pointers and we hold on the for win by the skin of our teeth. Was nice to see Omaho get a few minutes and contribute with 4 points, would have liked to see him a little in the 2nd half, but whatever.

Yeah those free throws hurt. Also hurt that we didn’t get fouled enough to be in the double bonus by then. Whether that was the refs or our lack of aggressiveness trying to run down the clock.

TCU shot 50% from the field, but with all the turnovers they only took 46 shots compared to ISU's 62. When they stopped turning it over, they climbed back into it. We also had three extended periods in the second half without a bucket.
