I can't see this but who knows. I know they have more NIL money than we do, but they have a ton wrapped up into McNamara and Catlin Clark. Clark at least has ROI.
I really don't see Iowa spending 1M on a lineman. I would rather go find 4 really good ones for 250k each versus one 5star for 1M anyway. I guess there has to be ones available though.

I think the difference with him and Clark, is that Clark isn’t necessarily getting it from the Iowa collective, she’s creating her own deals and getting it from State Farm, Gatorade, Hy Vee, etc. and their collective isn’t as involved, from what I understand.

He’s a big body and is talented and I would’ve been happy if he chose ISU (mostly cuz our OL can’t get any worse and could use someone with experience), but I think he’s heavy footed, slow, and stiff - and I thought that when he was at Bama, he’s a big reason why Milroe was sacked 44 times last year

All of Clark’s NIL is independent, she opted out of the Swarm Collective.

Condon said there wasn’t much NIL coming this time around for Proctor. Just wanted to come home and Iowa was the best fit from that perspective. Who knows.

It could be a case where Proctor made up a little story to make it appear he was still thinking about Iowa while in Alabama. If that’s the case, it’s really not a smart thing to say from Proctor. And if story is true that Iowa contacted Proctor midseason, then it’s not a smart thing to do for Iowa. But both scenarios includes a “not a smart thing to say/do.”
