Playing a bottom half team would definitely make me think it was a trap game. TT should have their attention (and I really don't think these guys think about anything beyond the next opponent).Feels like the mother of all trap games.
First half against Baylor coming off the big win against Kansas.
But, Texas tech is also coming off their win against Kansas
I've seen it used with either meaning. Looking past a poor opponent with eyes on a big matchup or coming off a big emotional winBaylor's also really good.
Isn't 'trap game' a game against a bad team before a big game?
WV 2/24 fits that bill before OU the next week and they're capable.
Mangino, is that you?JFC someone get me a towel.....
At least you're on central time, eastern is absolutely brutal.Same. Selfishly I want it to stay right where it's at. I get so wound up it takes me an hour or two to calm down and get to bed. We will have weeknight games at 6 this week and next and I love it.
I've been watching replays the last couple weeks instead of having cardiac issues watching live.I will not be watching on Monday. I can't stomach it. I will work out and watch the recording if we win. Yes, I am a poosy.

The Houston game is playing with house money though so I'll watch it. I actually get more nervous over home games than on the road.

Yeah, I actually started getting nervous towards the end of the Texas game even though I already knew the outcome. The near cardiac issues is what makes it exciting. Shoot last Sat was actually kind of boring (in a good way) now the Texas game was a stress test on the old ticker.

Monday's game is one that doesn't stress me out. Playing the #1 team in the country on the road is pretty much all upside.I will not be watching on Monday. I can't stomach it. I will work out and watch the recording if we win. Yes, I am a poosy.
I was there don't think anyone sat down the last 4 minutes of the game.Yeah, I actually started getting nervous towards the end of the Texas game even though I already knew the outcome.
I actually agree.Monday's game is one that doesn't stress me out. Playing the #1 team in the country on the road is pretty much all upside.
Tomorrow however.... stress city.
