Who do we want to win between Kansas and Baylor?

I'd guess Kansas winning is probably the best for us. They've got an almost guaranteed loss coming next weekend at houston. Baylor has a good chance of winning its 2 upcoming games this week.

Only thing I’m concerned about is Kansas somehow winning out and jumping us for Omaha

I’m here too. That was 2023, 2024 Cyclones will kick a**!
We saw people repping ISU at the Disney World Swan hotel today and talked to other people on a Disney bus last night who planned to go to the game (no affiliation to either school). Looking forward to seeing hopefully a lot of Cardinal at UCF today!

Sorry if it's already been asked and answered in the thread but I am golfing at Veenker and just need to know where to go watch the game today in Ames.

Just heard from a buddy of mine that KU has never lost 7 Big 12 games in a season.... ever! This could be the year.

Win out, and root for Baylor over Kansas and if they win Kansas against Houston. Kansas winning against Baylor and Houston would be worst case for Omaha. I could see at least the media jumping Kansas over a even Big 12 CoChampion ISU for Omaha if they win both of those. I don't think Baylor is much of a threat.

Been doing mbb games since conference play games in 2014.

I'd seen others do them around midnight so just continued from that. I always have the op ready to from earlier in the day so all I have to is hit post.

Night owl so most nights I'm still up by then and some nights I set an alarm for about 5 min till midnight.
If there were not a game day post from you at exactly midnight there would be a lot of CF in a dead panic about your well being.

They couldn't even beat West Virginia or UCF on the road, what makes you think they can beat both Houston and Baylor both on the road in a span of 7 days?

This is true. Though part of that is the increasing number of games over time. More games = more opportunities to lose.

Though an 11-7 record would be a .611 winning %, which its still been a long time since they've been at or below that mark (Roy Williams's first year, when they went 6-8, and multiple years in the 70s)

Yeah, KU winning at Houston would be the shock of the year. A team that has been terrible on the road vs a team that's been damn near unstoppable at home.

Kansas like Texas traditionally in football, can often win the big game, even when they lose games they should win. Also, didn't say it was likely, just said it was worst case for ISU.

Who remembers this being NBC's NCAA Basketball Tournament theme song? If you do, you're over 50 years old for sure.
