OU gave Houston everything they had and still came up short. Shead, Cryer, and Sharpe are so good.

Alabama goes down, probably looking at another loss Tuesday also. I think we are pretty safely ahead of them and Auburn for Omaha at this point.

Houston result sucked, but the rest of the day was pretty good for ISU. Marquette, Kansas, and Alabama all lose. All three of those teams have been projected as 2 seeds. Marquette probably stays at a 2, but we should jump Bama and Kansas now.

Were those two teams ever ones we were worried about get Omaha? We are (or were) worried about Kansas, Baylor, Marquette, Wisconsin. Memphis/Indy/Charlotte are all closer to Bama and Auburn than Omaha.

I think Auburn is like 1-7 in Q1 games, and only has 1 more Q2 win than us. Would really hope that we don’t have to worry about them getting seeded higher than us.
Yeah, they shouldn't be anywhere near us, but they are ranked 11th in the AP and 6th on Torick which puts them in the 2-3 seed range.

Is Oklahoma in danger of missing the tourney? They are about to finish 8-10 it looks like and they really only have 2 good wins the entire year at home against us and BYU.

I think they legitimately might be on the bubble.

Nope. They're locked. Especially as long as they beat Cincy next week. They're a solid 8 seed now. Losing out next week and first game in KC would make things stressful but still they'd likely be first four team even then.
