oh yeah...thats a good point.
What to they seed Drake? 10-13?
wouldn't want to play them either way.
Good question. I asked same thing. I'd think above indiana state who would be an 11 I assume. Drake has better resume then Indiana state now

I don't know that.
There is no doubt in my mind. Should be nobody in the arena (Half the bball fans are with the womens team) and its spring break. Which is right where the fighting hawks want it.....

senior night and figthing for their tournament lives. Hawks by 10.

Wouldn’t want to face Drake in the NCAA Tournament.
Probably go a lot of 4 guard. Or at minimum a lot of Milan at the 4. I'd want Gilbert on DeVries. They also start two small guards so extending Pav makes sense. I know normally you want to make your opponent match up with your best 5 but DeVries would be a nightmare for King. Watson is another guy that could log some minutes on Tucker.

Given their NET and now 4-1 record in Q1 on top of a conference championship in underrated league one would think higher than 12. But who knows - so much nonsense with the committee every year.

Eh, that 4-1 is still a weak 4-1 though considering it contains no q1a wins. And 5 losses to teams lower than 100 hurts in combination with that.

Here's my head scratcher. Drake now has a better resume then Indiana St. Does the play in game drop a line (11 to 12)? Or do they make Drake a 12 and Indiana St a play in 11?

If I'm assessing right now, Drake is at 11 and Indiana State is 11 First Four. Depending how some other auto-bids develop, Drake could drop to 12 line - the First Four might drop to 12, too, but that depends on at-large level on the bubble + IS could get knocked out completely with bid-steals.

That last part is just bad. Not sure anybody with that blemish has gotten in before.

The committee has said those play ins are for at large teams. AQ avoid Dayton expect the 16s of course.

It’d be a shame if one of the most overrated teams in recent history loses to a pathetic IU team who will probably fire their coach.

Not sure Gilbert is big enough. Watson would definitely be my pick when he’s in

I added a new page to my website. You select the score of the winning and losing team and it will give you all of the games that had that score in tournament history.

The most common scores in tournament history are 69-67 and 75-72. Both have occurred 15 times.

The score of 69-67 had already occurred 12 times by 1990, but 75-72 had only occurred twice by that time.

Northern Iowa is the only school that has won a game by both of those scores in tournament history.
