What's your .0000001% that would keep us out of Omaha. I ask because I can't see a scenario.

Listen... when it comes to NCAA tournament selection you can never say with 100% certainty anything is ever going to happen.

NCAA at noon tomorrow: We have decided its not fair that Creighton can't play in Omaha due to archaic rules so we are going to allow them to be placed in Omaha. Also Kansas fans have already bought a lot of tickets to Omaha and it would be a real pain for them to have to sell them off so we will just go ahead and put them there too.

man I hate Purdue. They are the most vulnerable 1 seeds but what makes them hard to beat is they get bailed out by 20-30 points from the line each game

I don’t get the love for Edey. He’s got a nice touch, but he’s not very athletic, doesn’t have amazing body control, and is not quick at all.

Doubtful. If North Carolina is a one seed, they're in the west, and Arizona will be the two out there. It's either East or Midwest for ISU.
I really think it’s going to be
Zona west
Marquette south
Isu midwest
Tennessee east

But who knows. I don’t mind playing UConn but not in Boston.

Just like I wouldn’t want to play Purdue in Indianapolis

Of course we could also run into a hot 7 seed like Wisconsin and not make it out of the first weekend

I I think for you scenario to work ISU would need to be the 5 or 6 overall seed, just not sure I see us jumping that high, others do I personally don't. Also we wouldn't play Purdue in Indy it's a subregional, whereas Boston is a regional site. Unless or course you mean it as an example like not wanting to play ISU in Des Moines. I think Wisconsin is likely a 6 seed, probably closer to the 5 line than the 7 line so I wouldn't worry about them. They were playing really well in the first two thirds of the season.

We will be a 2 in Omaha. Only change would be if we somehow became a 1 in Omaha (highly unlikely).
How is our fanbase so consistently ignorant to this? We can't be placed in a worse spot with a better seed. The only way that would've happened is if Kansas and Nebraska or someone else close to Omaha were both ahead of us on the seed line. It's not that complicated, but I still see people on Twitter saying we haven't clinched Omaha.

It isn't always pretty, but he's dominated college basketball for two years. He averages 24/12 on 62% shooting. He's really good.

Committee guy on CBS indicated that there are 3 teams still in contention for the last 1 seed
I suppose it's Marquette, ISU, and North Carolina. I still say we don't really have a chance, but if the other 2 lose and we win maybe...
