Because we've been so successful in this tournament there's always a segment of fans that think we need rest and it's better to lose or believe in the curse or whatever. And it drives me crazy because this is a moment those guys won't get back. Sure we'd all trade this for a national title, but nothing is guaranteed. And I would like to believe that this is pretty magical for our guys. I hate that Tyrese never won an NCAA Tournament game here, but I'm glad he won this tournament. All of our impact players over the last 10 years have won one. That's pretty ******* cool.

This group needed this tournament.

Dynamically or whatever they may have needed that loss a week ago, to invoke a hard 'reset' and then there was no more perfect time to do it.

Now's the hard part of staying in that mode against an unfamiliar team.

Except one "big upsets" was after 1st round b12 trny loss. The other was a Teamthat kept getting down double digits and coming back... not blitzong dominantly through the trny. This is different than those.
