Ok, I am just trying to figure where this concept is coming from. Apparently, the committee has had all #1 seeds play on Friday. Didn’t realize that was an unwritten rule. Not me, but I've been corrected again and again.
If unc also loses by 20+ can we be in the conversation then? What if, hypothetically, we smoke the top team in the country and beat them by 20+ and almost double them up? Then can we be in the conversation for a 1?

To you yes, but when resumes are similar they will look at who you chose to play, can't chose your conference schedule can chose your non con so it's weighed heavier in those situationsI don’t understand the focus on the NCSOS. It’s a factor to consider I guess, but this is a full season resume. The overall is the only thing that really makes sense to me.
Here are the sites and dates. Apparently you can't be Thursday Saturday next week then Friday Sunday the following.Ok, I am just trying to figure where this concept is coming from. Apparently, the committee has had all #1 seeds play on Friday. Didn’t realize that was an unwritten rule.
If that would prevent ISU from being a #1 seed since they are going to Omaha and will play Thursday, that’s complete horse crap.
This is not even remotely true. Alabama was a 1 last year and played on Thursday.Ok, I am just trying to figure where this concept is coming from. Apparently, the committee has had all #1 seeds play on Friday. Didn’t realize that was an unwritten rule.

Very much so, he also kept saying Purdue has the most Q1 wins when in fact Houston has 16, 4 more than Purdue. I love how it should have been ISU is a really good team and should get a look at a 1 seed but it immediately turned into Houston should drop a lot and is in danger of falling off the 1 lineJay Williams said Houston should be the fourth of the 1-seeds after today's outcome. With that line of thinking, Purdue lost so I suppose that would put them as the first 2-seed, right?
My main point: all these talking heads don't know jack squat, but the lack of respect given the best league in the land is tiresome.
NC had three non-con games against tournament teams, going 1-2. They beat Tenn. and lost to UConn and Kentucky. Not sure their non-conference performance was so much better than ISU’s.ISU ncsos 324 UNC ncsos 26 it may not matter to us, but it matters to the people that are seeding the teams. Personally I think we deserve the 1 seed, but the it's the NCAA we are talking about
I didn't say their performance was better or worse. I said their strength of schedule was light years better.NC had three non-con games against tournament teams, going 1-2. They beat Tenn. and lost to UConn and Kentucky. Not sure their non-conference performance was so much better than ISU’s.
Houston has 4 losses i doubt they fall to #4 .So with today's results.
UConn to the #1 overall and is in the east.
Purdue #1 in MW.
UNC, with a win, # 1 in the west or maybe the south.
Houston #1 in the other.
Do we move up to the best #2 and stay out of the east? Marquette then goes west and we get the MW with purdue?

At least one 1 seed has to play Thursday/Saturday and at least one has to play Friday/Sunday due to first four gamesOk, I am just trying to figure where this concept is coming from. Apparently, the committee has had all #1 seeds play on Friday. Didn’t realize that was an unwritten rule.

But it's awesome to consider Houston is 1-2 v. ISU and 29-2 v. Everyone else.
