We’re getting Omaha no matter what. Whether we are a 1 or 2. I feel like we need to pin this to the topic.Choosing between being a 2 seed in Omaha or a 1 seed somewhere else is a very tough choice for me. I'm on the fence, but I guess I would fall on the 1 seed side.
The good news is that either option is absolutely great, so I won't complain too much if we end up a 2 seed.
Love this tweet!
I don’t necessarily disagree (I don’t know Tennessee’s metrics). I’m just going off what Bracket Matrix has
For comedic purposes, according to that data, I thought everyone should know that this little sunflower I supposedly the best bracket predictor on the internet
Linardi and Palm are bad at placing teams on seed lines, they usually get all teams in the field though. But most everyone who's dialed into this process can field 68. Seeding them separates men from boys
Iowa State will be Omaha no matter their seed.Choosing between being a 2 seed in Omaha or a 1 seed somewhere else is a very tough choice for me. I'm on the fence, but I guess I would fall on the 1 seed side.

And we also became the official #1 defense in the nation. Houston dropped to #2.Just looking at KenPom alone, last night shot us all the way to 5 and dropped Houston to 2. Houston was far and away #1 the entire year and #2 was not even close to them. The metrics shift from this game was indeed amazing.
Potential Nebraska in round 2 and BYU in sweet 16, no thanks. Those styles have given us trouble.

No thanks. Don't want to see BYU in the sweet 16 game.
True, although UNC's Q1 % is slightly better. (Not by a ton)Iowa State has more Q1 wins and a better Q1a record.
Nebraska is very home heavy this year and haven't played a defense close to ours.Potential Nebraska in round 2 and BYU in sweet 16, no thanks. Those styles have given us trouble.
That isn't the scenario, its is it a one in Omaha or a two seed in OmahaChoosing between being a 2 seed in Omaha or a 1 seed somewhere else is a very tough choice for me. I'm on the fence, but I guess I would fall on the 1 seed side.

The eye test results are.... UNC has blue jerseys. Why has it become acceptable for the College Football Playoff committe to discuss "eye test" but not college basketball? Iowa States and North Caolinas resumes are extremely similar. Iowa State just absolutely DOMINATED the Big 12 tournament and dismantled #14 Baylor and put a historic beatdown on #1 Houston. UNC meanwhile barely squeaks by a mediocre Pitt and was controlled by NC State.
Eye test...all else equal...who is the better team right now???
